Finding Homes for Children in Thailand

Since 1982, WACAP has found loving adoptive families for hundreds of children from Thailand, working with both the Thai government and a private government-licensed orphanage. Our team of dedicated staff is ready to assist you as you expand your family through adoption from Thailand. Through the years, Holt has placed over 800 children from Thailand with families in the United States — including more than 260 children just over the past decade. Most importantly, many children in Thailand are waiting right now for a permanent, loving family of their own.

Adopting From Thailand with Holt International

For over 44 years, Holt International has worked to serve the needs of homeless and at-risk children and families in Thailand. However, international adoption is just one of the ways Holt works to ensure children in Thailand can grow up in loving, stable homes. Before pursuing adoption, Holt always strives to keep children in the loving care of their birth families — providing services to help prevent child abandonment and keep families together.

If you’re in the process of an adoption with WACAP, you’ll continue to work with a WACAP case manager as you move forward.

If you’re inquiring about adopting from Thailand after February 7, you can learn more about WACAP’s merge with Holt International and about adopting from Thailand below.
