    WACAP is one of the largest international nonprofit adoption and child assistance agencies in the US. Since 1976, we’ve placed over 11,000 children with loving adoptive parents and provided food, medical care and education to more than 200,000 children around the world.

    WACAP's mission to find families for children goes beyond placing healthy infants with parents. At WACAP, we strive to find families for each and every child we hear about - regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, number of siblings, or special medical needs they may have.

    Our Korea program places toddlers with mild medical needs or developmental delays. Children are cared for in foster homes, and extensive information is available during the referral process.

    Our Taiwan program is currently seeking families open to adopting children of all ages, but especially infants and toddlers 9 to 36 months old. Children needing adoption in Taiwan have high-risk backgrounds, but families receive highly detailed reports during referral process.

There are over 153 million orphaned children in the world. Many of these children are older or were born with special disabilities. Children in U.S. foster care and orphans with special needs face lifetimes of destitution, discrimination, and despair.

But with your help, WACAP can give children in need a family.
