STAY-IN-SCHOOL Child Sponsorships

Throughout Ethiopia there are orphaned children who live with relatives or in foster homes, but who still must work to help support their family’s basic needs. This prevents them from attending school and gaining the education necessary to break the cycle of poverty. Although school is free in Ethiopia, these children are so impoverished that they must work instead of experiencing a childhood focused on building a brighter future. For as little as $30 a month, your family can help a child receive a Stay-in-School Grant: a sponsorship which provides basic necessities to their family, freeing the child to obtain an education.
