Alex and Jason
Alex and Jason are brothers who have an outstanding bond. They enjoy riding bikes, four-wheeling, playing video games and reading. Both Alex and Jason love the outdoors and enjoy camping, swimming, running and exploring the world around them. Personable and intelligent, Alex, who is in the fifth grade, is fun, caring, gentle and talkative. He loves to engage in conversation with kids and adults. With his kind personality and good sense of humor, Alex makes friends easily. He loves animals and would like to have pets in his adoptive family. Jason is in the seventh grade and loves to work on his homework with the adults in the family. Jason is friendly and personable, and thrives on lots of daily attention from caring adults. He is experiencing some independence, as all healthy teens do.

Anthony
Anthony turns 12 in January and is counting the days until his birthday! Anthony loves most sports and especially likes playing football with his friends, riding his bike and swimming. He’s intelligent and enjoys history. Other favorite indoor activities are watching the Discovery Channel on TV, as well as playing video games, cards and board games. Anthony does well with animals, family pets and young children. He needs an experienced, committed two-parent family, with a nurturing but firm dad. He could be an only child or have one or two siblings. Anthony benefits from services to help him work through his challenges. It will be important for his new family to participate with him as well.

Ben
Benjamin, or Ben, is an outgoing young teen who loves sports. He invested much of his time and energy in his basketball team this year. He has also played soccer and looks forward to being on a soccer team as well. Ben has a good sense of humor and makes friends easily. Although born in Ethiopia, he speaks English well. Ben longs for a family, especially a dad, who shares his love of sports and who will claim him, encourage him and love him forever.

Brendan
Brendan loves music! He’s learning to play the electric guitar and drums and currently prefers to listen to heavy metal and rock’n’roll. Brendan also enjoys playing computer games, reading comic books and watching movies. He has participated in swimming and biking events in the Special Olympics. He benefits from an IEP to provide behavioral and academic support at school. Brendan needs a family who will provide the structure and attention he needs at home and who will advocate for the academic and community resources he’ll need to succeed in the future.
