WACAP’s first adoption of a child from Thailand took place in 1982, and two years later we established a formal arrangement to place Thai children with American families.

You may apply to adopt either an infant or a child who has already been referred for adoption and is waiting for parents.

If you’re not ready to adopt, you can still assist a needy child. WACAP helps to pay education and living expenses for Thai children orphaned by AIDS. By donating to WACAP, you can support child assistance efforts like these.
