Helping Children in Korea

Support for children and birth mothers
WACAP recently celebrated its 25th year of helping U.S. parents adopt children from Korea. In addition to successfully placing over 2,000 Korean children over the past quarter century, we have also helped thousands of Korean children who could not be adopted. We currently provide needy children with ongoing medical care, education and help with basic needs through our agreement with Holt Children’s Services.

We've also helped Holt Children's Services in their efforts to establish community services. These projects include a home for unmarried pregnant women and a social service center, currently under construction, which will provide welfare services for community members with disabilities and those living in impoverished conditions.

How you can help
  • $10,000 helps with the construction of a community social service center.
  • $500 provides new clothing for dozens of children.
  • $155 provides six dozen special bottles, enabling babies who have cleft palates to eat comfortably.
  • $27.50 per month provides care and therapy for an orphaned child with special needs, or basics like extra food or medicine for a child from a needy family.
