These children are making the transition to new
families. We offer our thanks and congratulations
to their adoptive parents!
Across Washington, almost two thousand kids live in foster
care while they wait for permanent families. They’re legally
free for adoption, and they need families to love them forever.
WACAP’s new project, A Family for Me, introduces you to
kids who need what every kid should have: a family like
yours.
In cooperation with Seattle TV station
Q13/FOX, A Family for Me produces a weekly TV segment called
QKids, which airs at 8:45 a.m. every Monday on Q13/FOX.
Hosted by Lily Jang, QKids profiles adoptable kids from
around the Puget Sound region. As the QKids are introduced
each week, we'll add their profiles to this page. You might
want to bookmark it and return later to learn more about
the kids.
In addition to kids featured on A Family
for Me, WACAP's
US
Kids staff have information on hundreds of other children
in the United States who need homes.
QKids and A Family for Me were started through
a generous contribution of time and resources from the attorneys
and staff at McGavick Graves, P.S. Professional photography
services for featured children are generously donated by
Yuen Lui Studios. Videography and video editing services
are donated by Sharon Peaslee, Cameron Bell, Christy Elton and Frank Lozano.
