QKids: Meet Frances
5.9.2008
A Family for Me is WACAP's
project to help find families for local kids in foster care. These kids are
featured on "QKids" every Monday at 8:45 a.m. on Q13-FOX.
Frances will appear on QKids on Monday, May 12. She's a sweet, caring girl who loves animals, especially dogs. She’s also active on a bowling team, in Girl Scouts and in her church. Frances is inquisitive and fun to be around. You might find her drawing, reading or doing arts and crafts projects like making jewelry. Frances is doing well in school. Her ideal family would include a mom, a dad, a younger brother or sister and a dog. Most of all, she wants to feel loved. If you have any questions about A Family for Me or QKids, please call us at 1-800-732-1887 or by e-mail. (For general questions about WACAP and adoption, call 206-575-4550 or 1-800-732-1887.) Let's talk adoption
If you've adopted a child 2 years of age or older through WACAP, you're invited
to participate in the
WACAP Adoption Forum,
an online bulletin board for adoptive parents of older kids. If you have questions
about your child’s adjustment and development, the forum will provide solutions
and support from other families and a WACAP social worker when you're too busy
or too far away to attend classes and support groups.
